Our application is hosted in Germany using infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH.
All data processing takes place within the European Union.
Our application provides functionality for managing email communication and calendar workflows.
With the user’s explicit consent, we access data from:
- Google Gmail
- Google CalendarUsers can:
- Read and display emails
- Send emails
- Modify, archive, and delete emails
- View, create, and edit calendar events
Access is granted via OAuth and limited to the permissions approved by the user.
To integrate email and calendar services, we use the service provider Nylas.
Nylas enables connectivity with multiple email and calendar providers, including:
- Google (Gmail and Google Calendar)
- Microsoft (e.g., Outlook / Microsoft 365)
- Apple (e.g., iCloud Calendar)
Nylas connects securely to these services, processes data as a data processor, and transmits data between the respective provider and Solarware. We do not store account credentials for these services.
Additionally, Solarware provides optional integrations (APIs) with third-party accounting and CRM systems, including:
- sevDesk
- Lexware Office
These integrations are activated directly by the user. Depending on usage, data such as:
- contacts
- products
- quotes
- invoices
may be synchronized between Solarware and the respective third-party provider.
All data processing is strictly limited to providing the requested functionality. No data is used beyond this purpose.
Solarware does not store email content persistently.
Email and calendar data are:
- processed transiently
- used only to provide application functionality
We do not:
- sell user data
- use data for advertising
- share data with third parties
Except:
- infrastructure providers
- integration providers (e.g., Nylas)
All partners are contractually obligated to protect data.
We may use cookies to:
- provide functionality
- analyze usage
- improve user experience
Necessary cookies cannot be disabled.
Users have the right to:
- access their data
- correct data
- delete data
- restrict processing
- data portability
Users may withdraw consent at any time.
Users may revoke access via their Google account settings at any time.

Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- no advertising use
- no unauthorized sharing
- no use for training generalized AI models
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.
